I’m offering a double dose of Clothes Horses this week, one’s a hold-over from a couple of weeks back and the other’s a new one. Now, I gave the dress before with the clue “She needs a holiday!” – if you figure out that key piece of dialogue you’ve got it made. And, because I’m such a pushover I’m giving you a clue that should uncover it all. Both films are from the same year.

Go. Who’s wearing what and in what movie?

UPDATE: So, either you've gone lazy or my clues are awful. Probably the latter...okay one of the women takes pictures, the other gets pictures of her taken. The contemporary one is an Oscar winner, but was not nominated for this role. The period one is a multiple Oscar nominee, one of them for this role. If you find one, just think of what other films came out that year

Alex, Anahita and Dezmond have all easily guessed the previous entries. Either they’re all discerning film watchers or I’m giving easy clues. Today’s entry wasn’t lucky enough to be nominated by Oscar, although it’s worn by an Oscar nominated actress.

Clue: She needs a holiday.

Yet another garb that I consider memorable. With the head off it looks a bit misleading, but it probably should be another easy one. Why I keep posting simple challenges, heaven knows? Clue: The lady has a nerve problem.

Any ideas?

Dezmond was the first to guess that the Elizabeth: The Golden Age was the film's whose costumes were featured in the inaugural episode of Clothes Horses. This one seems simple too from where I sit, but only because I've seen the film so often.

Clue:  A Visitor. I'm sure you'll get this one quickly.

Last year when I was being egregiously late, as per normal, in wrapping up a decade in review I posted ten photos of film characters, one for each decade, with their face obscured in some of the decades finest costumes and made you guess their origins. I’ll try to give clues.

But, this is one is simple. So, no other clue than it won an Oscar for its costumes. Can you guess the film?
